Woo~ Fanime was a blast! It was Jojocon part two for me~ and I got to hang out and cosplay with a bunch of Jojo peeps! Phantom Blood on Day 1, Stardust Crusaders Day 2 and Battle Tendency Day 3! I also got to shoot in an Egyptian museum for Part 3 Dio with Tora-rin,Misled Youth, John, and Kat, who I met on the first day of Fanime. Epic shoot was epic~ I can't wait until AX!! Sadly no new Jojo's from me but I'll have Disgaea and Shingeki no Kyojin. Now commence JJBA photo spam. 8D

HI GUYS~ I'M ALIVE! It hasn't been super long since my last journal entry, but I just confirmed that I'll be attending Animegacon in Vegas next month! I'm super excited because I'll be doing Masquerade with ~~~!! It's going to be Touhoucon for me, because I'll be cosplaying Touhou every single day. I'm not sure what to expect but I really hope it's fun!

Woo! Fanime, AM2 and AX has passed! I swear I have never been so busy EVER in my life before. I recently just started a full time job (yay!!) right when the summer con crunch time began. I guess it was right when I started working on stuff for Fanime. For the past 2 months of my life, it was literally just work, come home, sew, repeat... then weeks continuous sewing! I don't know how I pulled it off but I did!! Time to write some quick con reports!

I flew there night of Day 0 with rayna1! The con was generally fun~ I think most of my con was spent hanging out with friends and eating at cool San Jose places! On Day 1, I cosplayed as SSL Sannan with Rayna as SSL Chizuru. I wasn't in it long, and changed into Koumajou Marisa right after. I actually had a broom this time so I was damn excited. 8D!! Day 2 was Advent Cirno~ I have to admit... I really love that costume. It's super comfortable, and surprisingly a lot of people actually recognized it! I got to act like a derp all day~ I really want to wear it again!! *_* Day 3 was RO and 999 Day! For some reason I don't remember much from that day~ ALSO!!! I SLOWPOKED IT UP DURING THE EVENINGS OF THE CON WITH MWAAHAHA! I APPARENTLY I ALSO SPOON WHEN I'M DRUNK.

Only went on Saturday and Sunday~ Cosplayed with sukailine all weekend and IT WAS FREAKING AWESOME!! <3<3<3 We did To Aru Kagaku no Railgun on Saturday as Misaka and Kuroko! (I'll be posting photos of that soon *_*) and Lucky Star MMO Version as Konata and Kuroi-sensei on Sunday with as Kagami~ The convention was pretty small~ this was a con I spent a good amount of time taking photos. I don't mind though~ it was really fun! *_*

Anime Expo
Now AX was the killer. I've never had so much srscosplaybusiness til this con right here. Last year, I was supposed to compete in masquerade with Mikarin, Hagi and Kevin for Umineko no Naku Koro ni, but we weren't able to do it, so we moved it to this year. At the span of that time, I decided to remake Eva-Beatrice (since I really made the last one within 2 days.) I wasn't able to start on this new one until after AM2, and that was like a week and a half before AX. I was also trying to make it nice since we were getting judged for craftsmanship. It started out okay, but things kept taking longer than expected... (I made my capelet the night before judging... and it's still not up to the quality I'm happy with, and I'm missing my staff) AX was rough once it came around. On craftsmanship judging day, I was the first one in my group in the judging office...but everyone was late so I ended up staying there for almost 3 hours. After, I grabbed some food, and chilled with at her artist alley table til Exhibit Hall closed. Then it was and 's birthday get-together at my house. I partied hard, and did not give a fuck. 8D Next day was Masquerade Day. I finally got to walk around dealers hall for a bit before helping the rest of my group with our skit stuff. Everything was going alright, until we went backstage for the masquerade. Everyone kept on misplacing stuff and I think things were just generally... tense. I got to hang out backstage with though, and that helped me relax a bit. I remember when I was first going to cons, that was just a dream... and it happened at AX! We were all pretty excited! I swear it still doesn't feel real.

In the span of these two months... I made 6 costumes... >.>;;; I told myself I was going to tone it down a bit, but it looks like I'll be starting yaoi-con cosplay this weekend. It's a month until Fanime~ AHHH! I hope I'm not the only one panicking! I thought I was only going to make one new costume for Fanime, but somehow I ended up with another one. ANOTHER GET IT?!?! 8D~~ The only thing I really have done so far is the pattern for Cirno's dress and her Popsicle Sword. I should post some progress pictures of those soon. I haven't made props in a long time, but this one turned out really well. Much love for the 3D art class I took back in my community college where I learned most of my ghetto prop making from. 8D; 5 Swords and 2 costumes to go~~~
